cyber smart game

We were starting our own cyber smart game and I was so shocked because I did not know what to do but then James(the person that is teaching us cybersmart)showed us a example of a little girls cyber smart game and then that gave me an idea and I was going to do what she was doing which was monopoly and then I was so glad that I had an idea  for my game because then it would of been harder if I did not have an idea 


We were doing this because we have been having time to have a block for a man called James to come and teach us about being cyber smart so that we don't do bad things online and be copyright and then at the end from what we were learning about we had to make a cyber smart game.



what went well for me was that I had a little bit of help from my friends and then I got the hang of it It took me along time to finish it all on my own and I did not work on it that much and I just finished today . Feel free to leave a comment to help improve this post! 😇

Awesome novel study

For 1 month we were  working on our novel study's.We had  a novel to read for four weeks we
also had to do 8 activity's  the main focus was to get them finished and we had to do our tittle page on a blank piece of paper to do our good copy of our tittle page it was a hard challenge to do.Everyone did finish but some people had to finish there's because they didn't do all of there activity's.



We were doing this because it was what we had to do in our reading time ever day when we came to school
mostly all the boys didn't want to do it but the girls did.It was fun for me because I got my favourite book it's like the best book in the whole wide world you really should read this book you will love it even my teacher loves it to 


They looked so cool and colourful when they were done everyone is glad they did there novel study and that they didn't have to stay in at lunch time and finish there novel study.I like my novel study it looks really colourful and bright I wouldn't change a thing about it 

toys and team work

This is my toy that me and my friend have been working on.We had to find a toy to make a make sure it could move or do something.It was a big challenge for us and most people did not no what to do for their toy.We were doing this because it was our inquiry topic for the year.Some people have finished but we haven't
we just need to paint and put this little ball on. It's fun making our toys because  we got to have a partner with us to.


This was important because we worked so hard we had to do then almost every day because most people weren't finished so the big focus was our toys it's so important to get them finished  we had to take a photo after they  were finished because we were putting this in our portfolio to show our parents and we also get to take the toy home at the end.


After our toys are finished they are going to look so cool because some of them will fly head and tail  will  go up  and down(that is what ours does)it was better working with someone you know and trust because it might of got broken or you could work by yourself.I think everyone will be glad that they made a toy and got it finished

Today in cyber smart we have being putting on this map where we were born then we answered theses questions below

What does the media tell us?

1. khatizah travelled 8.504 km and manov has travelled 3.17km

2.because they might get a new job/maybe to go on Holiday/ have to go to a meeting

3.it is popular that people all over the world live in new Zealand that's why the house prices are dear.

4. people are bullying the people about there house prices

This made me feel so sorry for those people that are getting bullyed  and I hope that they stand up for them self and maybe those people that are being a bully should stop and think about what they are doing to others

Toady in cyber smart we were learning about mean things that people say online or send to you. James showed us and example

of someone that  sent a mean comment.Then we discussed what other things that other people did to us.Then we went away to do this document about scenarios.Here's a example.

2 weeks ago we made some joiners that were going to go to the art festival in our school hall.It took a lot of  time to make them.The art festival was so cool it had lot's of  amazing art in it.We made  a presentation about how to make a physical joiner and and a digital joiner here it is.

what makes a good blog comment

Toady in cyber smart we created  a padlet about what you need in a comment.We read some examples of comments.Then we watched 2 videos about commenting they were interesting.Thank you for reading please leave a comment.

 yesterday room 7,8,9 got together in the hall then when everyone was here we got into groups of three 1 person from each class .Then we started to label each part then we got our batteries and started building it started off hard but then when were almost done It got easier when we were finish this was the finishing result.So then today we made a thing link about the important feature's and how they work.If you like this post please leave a comment!
